Foundations to sponsor the upcoming Early Years Summit on Speech, Language and Communication.

We’re absolutely delighted to say that foundations will be sponsoring the upcoming Early Years Summit on Speech, Language and Communication.

If you’re not familiar with the Early Years Summit, it’s a brilliant week-long online event for Early Years practitioners and educators where leading experts share their knowledge, insights and practical tips on an important topic.

This is the 9th summit, and the focus this year is on Speech, Language and Communication.

There’s an amazing line-up of 30 speakers including Baroness Sheila Hollins, Nicola Lathey, Professor Scott Yaruss, Dr Lakeisha Johnson and Vikesh Anand.

The speakers will be covering vital topics like stuttering, selective mutism, teaching English as an Additional Language, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Makaton and babies’ communication from birth to three. There are also sessions about working with families, language and the outdoors, verbal dyspraxia and using books to support understanding and communication.

All the interviews are completely free to watch (as many times as you want!) during the summit week of Monday May 31st to Sunday June 6th. Or if you want, you can buy a copy of the recordings to keep and watch forever.

If you’d like to watch the summit free online you can sign up using this link:

There are more details of all the speakers and the timings on the website, along with a live chat feature where you can ask any questions you want about the summit.

We’re really excited to be able to sponsor this year’s summit and to help bring all this amazing knowledge and ideas to the Early Years community for free. I do hope you can attend and take advantage of this incredible CPD opportunity.

We’ve been fortunate enough to work with Kathy for over Five years and the work Kathy has been doing to support the EY sector has, in turn, supported how Foundations free childcare software has developed and helped us to share this great tool across the sector.
